Woke up in a dugout. Added to the laundry list of shit a homeless person does. The sport is so boring that I shoulda left my sleeping pad in there for um. Sitting in McDonald’s for 3 hours as I watch the rain fall, contemplating if I still like hiking or not. A man pulls over and offers to give me a ride to the trailhead. We get to chatting and drive right past it. The blue blaze eventually links me to the AT and I hike a half mile the wrong way. On again, off again rain for the remainder of the day
