Unfortunately for me this is where I get off the trail. Lack of water sources, the distance between water and my water bottles being too small. I wound up running out of water,which 
Caused me to get dehydrated, and not being able to keep any food down. This pond was a blessing for some badly needed water 
Between the heavy pack and my knee injury came back.making it very hard to down hill.
The smart thing to do was stop.
I was able to get a ride out so I took it. I met a bunch of amazing people and some who were hurting worse than me, I wish the best for them. So I’m now in that,DNF mind state
