yap incoming: this was supposed to be a 16 LR with 12 @ MP, aka one of the few big tests of my fitness this build, but ankle was not happy — had to take ton of walking breaks in first couple miles to ease discomfort/instability. in past builds, i’ve imprudently pushed through in moments like this, which has led to weeks off of training because of a more severe injury. don’t want to make the same mistakes again. i’m sad i’m not hitting today’s workout // this week’s mileage, but i feel like i’m in a really good position aerobically to crush nycm in 9 weeks, just need to not be brash & let my body recover. time to go to PT. onwards

given my strava running graph is going to inevitably take a dip this next week, want to commemorate the best consecutive 12 week sequence i’ve ever had on my running strava graph 🫡
