Ride Home

I’ve decided that although my walk/jog went well on Tuesday, it’s a much smarter choice to wait another couple weeks until I actually attempt a return to running. There wasn’t any pain while I was running, but I can still locate the painful spot if I push hard enough on my tibia, which probably isn’t good. Even though it’s been eight weeks since I first felt it, only five weeks have passed since I was on crutches after attempting a marathon and that’s just not enough time to guarantee a full recovery! I have no true racing plans on the horizon, so I’ll just suck it up a little longer because I’d much prefer this to be the last time I get hurt. Anyways, Powerline was good today. I felt strong, and it was nice to get some elevation after solely biking the last five days. If not for my injury, I would’ve been climbing Mt Whitney today :(
