Today, my mind didn’t fight me.
It didn’t beg to stay in bed or plead for an escape.
Today, I wanted the hard.
I showed up excited to climb the Manitou Incline, got to the top and found a quiet place to thank God for this experience and morning. I run 4.5 miles back, not to punish my body, but to free my mind.
This wasn’t about fitness, it was about choosing challenge, choosing growth, choosing healing.
Because sometimes, the hardest climbs are the ones our soul is ready for.
