Ethan Pond is the best trail in the Whites, everyone’s been saying it.

Franconia Brook Junction to Ethan Pond Tentsite.
I slept nearly 12 hours last night (15 if you include yesterday’s nap).
Over to the hut for a few hours of studying, then cruised all the way to the shelter.
Gotta love the Ethan Pond trail. 250ft per mile and buffed out like west coast trails 😮‍💨😮‍💨. Was able to comfortably walk my old PCT pace from Zealand hut to the campsite.
