Hard to believe it’s August with these temperatures!

Super nice day outside but I chose routes poorly. After turning off Mulky Gap road the forest service had the road to Cooper Creek closed for maintenance and while Duncan Ridge road wasn’t closed they were clearly working on it as well - a couple inches of fresh, loose dirt was down but they hadn’t circled back with gravel so it was slow going. Jumped off on an unmaintained logging road for a couple miles before heading back to the car.  Ran the last few miles at a steady effort after getting out of the construction zone.
