Casual two-night trip, partially during heat wave, objectives primarily to pick more Cascade blueberries (✅), swim in a lake during the heat of the day (✅) and relax (✅). Camped at better-than-expected Pete Lake Monday night, arrived at main destination Spectacle Lake early Tuesday. Enjoyed it mostly to ourselves for much of the day before typical ALW crowds came in around evening. A wetting summer rain and lightning rolled in late afternoon.
