What. A. Day.
Frankfurt train station → patient BlaBlaCar driver Eduardo (3 hrs of nonstop conversation) → Düsseldorf pasta dinner → Mustafa & his son driving me through Germany → Netherlands → Belgium in the rain → bus to Mol → bike ride through forest & fresh post-rain air with wild sky colors → sneaking through a private campground (fence hops, dirt-biking kids, scooter crashes, and gate spikes) → finally a 1-mile walk back into Sun Parks where I’ll be staying the next 2 weeks.
19 hrs, 5 countries, $130 total vs $450 for the ‘easy’ option. Saved $330, met incredible people, made epic memories. Always take the risky route.
