Cruising Milan to find myself (coincidentally, haha)

Felt very strong first 35 miles, keeping good pace and tracking to target 16-ish hour finish. After Champex-Lac my tummy took a turn and I couldn’t get anything in (even tried puking a few times, but only dry heaved). 

Rain opened up on me near summit of La Giete and Les Steppes so I got soaked (even with all the cold weather gear), snd started getting hypothermic by the time I got to Vallorcine aid (no calories meant no energy either). 

Body started shutting down once adrenaline wore off so I had to pull the plug.

Chandler Blake kiddos stuck around to get me back to car and CB gonna finish strong. 

Disappointing for sure; but glad I came out to have the experience
