Brrr. Was not expecting weather this cold not on top of a mountain during this trip. Had enough to attire to be warm enough, though I'm not sure comfortable would be the right word.

Would have been nice to wait a bit, but there was no time for that. Big travel day, 5.5hr drive, 3.5hr ferry (only time slots per day), 2hr drive. That meant up and out well before the crack of dawn. 

Mapped out a pretty "simple" route to bag a hamdful of streets and a segment or two. Unfortunately a pre-run bloody nose cost me about 12 minutes and ultimately the 7+ mole route I had planned, but maybe for the best. Got in 10 streets and one segment, a segment I had to look long and hard for knowing I'd be able to take it. Got it by a good margin, but legs were pretty tapped out at 5:45 pace. Not many segments around here that slow, just check the other two I crossed.

Anyway, nice to get back on the wagon after a couple days off, even if there may be another day or two off in the near future. At least today will be a good recovery day otherwise.
