Goodness I’m out of shape. I’m still subconsciously protecting my ankle, too, and couldn’t move well at all on any of the descents.  Body gave up at Madison Hut, and the final climb to Madison and down Watson Path were quite miserable. I was at least going to be under 12 hours until I faceplanted on nothing 0.1 from the finish and spent a minute or two writhing on the ground waiting for my calves to unseize. Held it together for the $100 though Run The Whites
