Plans changes when I came upon a few people helping Randy about 2 miles in. He was in his late 50’s and had blown out his knee in a bad MTB crash. Ben, another mountain biker, and I helped him get back to his car. There were parts where he could carefully cruise down, riding his brakes, but other very slow parts where he had to dismount and Ben and I had to act as human crutches and then shuttle down the bikes. Added 2 miles at the end after Randy drove off to Urgent Care. Helping is good.
