Warm-Up Run for HCC Turkey Trot

My eldest and I did the HCC Turkey Trot (unfortunately, my 13 year-old has a broken toe and couldn't run it this year).  I must have double-clicked my watch at the start and didn't realize it until about 20 seconds in, so the official chip time for the 3-mile race was 18:19.7, which my worst time of the 5 of these races I've done and well off my PR for this race from last year of 17:53.4.  I am not surprised though, as I knew I was not in the same shape I was last year going into it.  My 15 year-old finally beat me in a head-to-head race, though he did fall a few seconds short of my time from last year, so I can at least still cling to that.  Maybe I'll have to stop being so cheap and get some Vaporflys like him.
