After blowing a hole in the outsole in two consecutive Brooks (launch and ghost), I decided to give the Asics Novablast a whirl. Crazy rocker compared to the launch, and way more foam. So much foam. Felt smooth and bouncy on the pavement (as new shoes usually do), but the lack of underfoot feel was scary af on the snowy sidewalks.

Overall pretty happy with them, but it might take a bit of getting used to a next-gen daily driver.
