First attempt at an Ultra in Patagonia. Hard day that didn’t go as planned. No ascents on Peakbagger and very limited information about any routes. Hard, steep scrambling, tedious traversing on loose rocks and scree. Around noon the weather turned bad and we still had at least an hour to the summit with unknown difficulties. It was a good decision to turn back. The good thing, we didn’t get busted by the park rangers since the approach trail was closed.
