Family Kayak Trip on the Delaware

Mt. Minsi Hike (Aborted "Mind the Gap" Hike)

I went kayaking on the Delaware River from Smithfield Beach (PA) to Kittatinny Point (NJ), with a stop on a small bar to snack, get into the river, and explore.  I was in a tandem kayak with our youngest, while the boys each had their own kayak.  The current was pretty gentle, with one short section of Class I rapids for a change of pace.  During the trip, we saw four bald eagles, a green heron, a great egret, and a common merganser.
