I’m such a horrible descender. I felt great, was well on my way to a top ten overall time, and then choked so hard on the way down. If there’s any consolation I can take away from this, it’s that I wasn’t taking the run too seriously (I decided to do this yesterday afternoon), and I’m climbing really well right now (probably because when I was nursing my tibia, I would train hard hiking UP Powerline Hill, but take things very cautiously on the way down). Oh, and it was really pretty up on the ridge!
