Not quite the Ben Lomond hike I had planned for the day, but sometimes plans change. Lomond was going to be tough with the shorter winter days, but add on the overnight/ morning snowfall and my flight being delayed by about an hour were just the nail in the coffin. 

Am I disappointed, I don't know. I don't know what I missed, but I do know what I saw which were some absolutely breathtaking views. Also, this wasn't the easiest hike, wasn't hard by any means, but legs are still a day removed from a marathon and kicking things off with 800+ feet of climbing per mile doesn't feel as good as it might otherwise.

P.S. Ben Lomond is the peak(s) just beneath the sun in the photos.
