Day 118: 27.7 miles to Nahmakanta Stream Lean-to (2154.7) 

We slept in a little extra today as a reward for yesterday’s efforts and to have the energy to get through the day. It was rolling for the beginning part of the day but mostly downhill. We absolutely cruised and it felt like we were back down south getting about 3 mph on multiple occasions. We got our food drop from Shaw’s with complimentary sodas and had a great lunch. After lunch it was more flat terrain which gave us plenty of time to take a swim at a beach. The bugs got bad on the final stretch but we were armed with bug nets and the will to finish this thing. It was a full shelter with more SOBOs than NOBOs for the first time on trail.
