Day 119: 13.7 miles to Rainbow Stream Lean-to (2168.4)

The rain started in the night and made itself known when a leak sprang in the shelter roof right in top of us at 3am. Luckily, this is why they make quick dry towels! The rain persisted for most of the day which made the green foliage pop on our way up Nesuntabunt Mountain, our last peak before Katahdin. We decided to call it earlier in the day to get out of the rain and were able to take a nap after lunch. We then all realized that this was our last night on trail before Baxter making our decision all the more worth it. Met Weatherman and Baguette, two other Nobos who pushed on in the rain.
