Decent little workout this evening. The schedule had 6x800m which I had hoped for 2 at 2:50, 2 at 2:45, 2 at 2:40 with a 600m jog (meeting between my 400m idea and Marks 4 min program). Unfortunately Mark took the pace out a little hot for my 2:50 goal, and after progressing through the second, 2:45, 2:40, 2:35 was kinda the goal until I was pretty beat after the first 2:40. Decided then I would just do four reps and switch to some 200s after. Nailed the goal of a fourth rep an additional three seconds faster, and then I promise ran the first three of my 200s literally 1/100th slower per rep before going near all out on the last rep. 

Heat definitely played a factor today. I was hoping it really wouldn't as it didn't seem too bad out, but that was much less the case once I actually tried running. This really isn't that impressive of a workout, the paces weren't crazy quick, and rest was longer than I initially planned, but this was tough.
