Sunrise to sunset to close out week 4. The vibe of the day was "you can tell what direction I'm going by the speed" which is to say a unlucky north wind from about 9am to the end. I had the best value milkshake of my life for in Lamar, and was talked at by a dude for an hour about how the windmills that surround his property were causing it to stop raining (?) and all the restraining order he has against "The sonovabitch of Gobblers Knob". Most colorful character of the day for sure. These next few days honestly might be some of the hardest consecutive days to plan of the whole trip, since the most direct routes between points of interest generally it's just private land with no supplies, so I'm probably going to yolo a long unsupported stretch again tomorrow. It's also interesting going against the grain of the riverbeds N-S which incurs more vert (but still not a lot) compared to most bikers going E-W.
